Panel: The future of Democracy and the 14 Million: Voters without Borders and democratic reforms on the agenda of the COFOE
How does a team of young Erasmus students lobby to ensure that voting rights and democratic reforms in the EU are universal, equal, and properly implemented? 1. They start an ECI; 2. They talk on equal terms to policymakers at the European Parliament; 3.They issue complaints and petitions, 4. They get involved in the Conference that can potentially reshape the future of Europe!
And what does this all have to do with Citizenship education? Well, some may argue that learning by doing is the best way to learn!
